For the month of November, gas storage levels continued to remain relatively healthy. November’s production levels have averaged 105 billion cubic feet (BCF) per day which is up 2.6 BCF since last month. Along with an injection of 60 BCF this brings current storage levels to 3,833 BCF reported as of the week ending November 10th. Storage levels are now 5.4% higher than last year. November did experience a cold snap but experts have indicated that December temperatures will still remain warmer than expected compared to last year, as a strong prospective El Nino highlights December’s weather outlook. This continues to put some downward pressure on gas prices but some experts are still optimistic of a possible slow ascent in gas prices.
